Hashiba Institute Announces Launch of "Healing Touch Japan"
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LONG BEACH, CA -- October 8, 2010 -- The Hashiba Institute today announced the launch of “Healing Touch Japan”, their newest project to expand Healing Touch Program worldwide.
“We are excited to lead the Healing Touch movement in Japan. Our goal is to continue teaching classes in Japanese and to provide opportunities for students to take action and build communities to promote self-sustainable health,” said Katrina Shibata, cofounder, Hashiba Institute.
In mid-August, the first Healing Touch Program Level 1 Class was taught in Japan by Rumi Hashimoto, MSN, RN, HTCP/I (cofounder, Hashiba Institute). “It was a wonderful experience to teach Healing Touch in my native language and to reconnect with nurses in Japan who are interested in learning this energetic modality,” said Hashimoto. “I look forward to teaching future classes across Japan as part of this growing project.”
“Healing Touch Japan” is the first Japan-based project in the company’s short history. The Institute has been working in collaboration with Healing Touch Program (HTP) to coordinate the translation of student materials, and will work directly with workshop coordinators and students within Japan. They plan to host a Japanese-only website, www.HashibaHealth.com/ja, with up-to-date information about Healing Touch worldwide. Upcoming Healing Touch workshops are currently being scheduled and will be announced to the public in the coming months.
The Healing Touch Program is an internationally-recognized educational program in energy based medicine therapy with classes taught across North America, Europe, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Founded by Janet Mentgen, RN, BSN, over 20 years ago, Healing Touch continues to deepen and expand the connection between all individuals. Through the conscious use of hands in a heart-centered and intentional way, practitioners support and facilitate physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
