Healing Touch Japan Kicks Off 2012 Schedule in Kyoto, Japan

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE LONG BEACH, CA -- October, 31, 2011 -- The Hashiba Institute, whose mission is to promote self-sustainable health by cultivating awareness, encouraging action and building communities, is proud to announce the kick-off of their 2012 schedule in Kyoto, Japan. The four-day event, January 5-8, 2012, will feature Healing Touch Program Level 1 and Level 2 classes offered at Meiji University of Integrative Medicine. “We are honored and excited to return to Meiji University [of Integrative Medicine] to continue offering Healing Touch classes. Along with a beautiful campus and impeccable facility, the University hosted the largest Healing Touch Japan class to date (in August, 2011). It will be exciting to return to Kyoto for two classes to kick-off the new year," said Katrina Shibata, MPH, CHES, founder, Hashiba Institute. To celebrate the successes of its first year, Hashiba Institute with support from Meiji University of Integrative Medicine, will offer two classes in January, 2012 (Level 1, January 5-6, 2012 and Level 2, January 7-8, 2012), at special rates for students. interested in taking both classes. Class registration is now open. In addition, the first Healing Touch Program Level 3 class is tentatively scheduled for March 27-28, 2012 in Kyoto, Japan. The class will follow the International Hiroshima Caring and Peace Conference on March 24-25, 2012. Since its inception in August, 2010, Healing Touch Japan has taught over 125 students across the country. Nine classes were offered during its inaugural year, half of which were sponsored by major universities.
