Message from the Founders
Welcome to the Hashiba Institute for Self-Sustainable Health!
|
Founded in 2009, the Institute is dedicated to supporting a movement toward self-sustainable health - away from a dependency on the current “disease-focused” healthcare system and toward a model based on every individual’s ability to define and attain personal health. Our mission is to promote self-sustainable health by cultivating awareness, encouraging action, and building communities. The Institute serves as a low-profit, cause-driven business working to stay financially, economically, and environmentally sustainable, while making a positive social impact. Unlike the traditional business model, we believe the impact of our business on the health of individuals and the community, rather than the profit we make in a given period of time, serves as our measure of success. At the Hashiba Institute, we offer a wide range of educational opportunities for anyone interested in exploring their personal path toward health. Through a continuous and dynamic process, every individual will have the opportunity to learn, take action, and connect with like-minded people in an effort to define and actualize self-sustainable health. Take some time to define health through your own eyes - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Each one of us possesses an untapped ability to walk our own path toward personal health. We are committed to support your path by co-creating a supportive and innovative learning environment based on our mission and guiding principles. We hope you have an opportunity to take part in the workshops, classes, practice groups, and other events taking place at the Hashiba Institute. Thank you for taking the time to explore your path to personal health with us. Visit often and become part of the community! Together we can celebrate life and cherish our journey toward self-sustainable health!
